    How long does it take to purchase a property?

    How do I make an offer?

    Do I need a survey?

    Although this is technically not a legal requirement, it would be extremely risky to purchase a property without conducting a survey first as the survey is there to confirm to the lender that there are no structural defects that would render the house an unsafe investment. It’s highly recommended to always seek out a surveyor during the buying process.

    What happens if I decide not to buy the property?

    There’s always the option to pull out if you change your mind – we understand that buying a house is a huge decision and we always want our customers to be sure they’re making the right one. If you decide not to buy, let us know as soon as you can and we’ll take it from there.

    When do we “exchange contracts”?

    Usually, buyers and sellers exchange contracts between one to four weeks prior to the completion date of the process. Once this is done, you will be able to move in.

    When will I be able to move in?

    The process of buying a house can take anywhere between three to six months to complete, but once the deposit, mortgage agreement, and, most importantly, the contracts are processed, you are free to move in as soon as possible.
